Khalid Almulla is the Director of Government Relations at AMERELLER’s Dubai office. Khalid is the lynchpin of AMERELLER’s strategy to offer incisive and useful government relations services within the UAE and broader GCC to key international clients.
Khalid specializes in interfacing with governmental decision makers at the municipality, Emirate, and Federal level. In addition to this role, he often secures regulatory approvals and consents, and clears complex administrative hurdles.
Khalid plays a key role in the firm’s debt recovery practice, assisting with pre-trial claims, mediation, settlement negotiations, and insolvency proceedings. He is particularly adept at developing recovery strategies for international clients facing collection risks.
In addition, Khalid assists the lawyers of AMERELLER in managing civil, regulatory and criminal cases. He supports clients in criminal matters, including engaging with law enforcement and prosecutorial authorities.
While Khalid’s primary focus is on the UAE, he also has experience in his area of expertise across various jurisdictions in the region.
