A total of 8 lawyers from the firm have been listed as recommended individuals in their practice areas.

In addition, global partner, Ahmed Al-Janabi, has once again been ranked as a Leading Individual in Iraq.

AMERELLER would like to thank our clients and peers for providing positive feedback.

Recognition and Testimonials:

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

AMERELLER Dubai has been ranked in Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and International Litigation (Tier 4) for their representation of major clients such as Hitachi, and thyssenkrupp Materials Trading. Alexander Lütgendorf represents a large number of respected businesses on a range of commercial disputes in arbitration and the DIFC courts. Amer Jamoukha has also been recommended for his work with UAE advocates.

“Overall, a reliable and experienced team. We found them to be organized, well versed with the legal environment, and good at providing comprehensive advice.” “The AMERELLER team has profound knowledge and experience in all MENA  legislations. One of the most remarkable points is that they act – with zero arrogance towards non-experts in the region – proactively and are always able to guide both lawyer and non-lawyers in a comprehensive way through a dispute. All decision alternatives and their consequences are clearly analyzed, and this firm is able to clearly recommend the best way instead of shifting a decision to the business people.”

“Alexander Lütgendorf is very knowledgeable, well experienced in multiple legal matters and brings in a commercial perspective as well, not just legal.”

The firm has also been ranked for Corporate, Commercial, Mergers & Acquisitions (Tier 5) for exemplary representation of multinational German and Japanese companies in the Middle East on commercial transactions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance. The Legal 500 also recognized that the practice has a footprint across the Middle East including Egypt, Libya, and Iraq.

“While its office network puts AMERELLER in a good position to assist Deutschland AG with its Middle Eastern efforts, Christopher Gunson also advises a number of notable Japanese clients. Arabic-speaking Texas-admitted Jonathan Noble is a key name for corporate and commercial work, and Dr. Jochen Murach is involved in heavyweight restructurings by leading German companies across sectors.”

The Legal 500 EMEA is published annually covering 80 countries and with over 2,700 ranked law firms. Ranks are provided based on a law firm’s work over the past 12 months, their range and depth of expertise, specialization and ancillary services, and opinions shared by law firm clients.
