Maurius de Ortega is a senior paralegal in the Dubai office of AMERELLER. He specializes in advising and managing the formalities in establishing subsidiaries and branches of multinational companies in various business industries at several Freezones in UAE, particularly in Dubai such as the DIFC, DDA (formerly DCCA), DMCC and DAFZA, and in offshore jurisdictions such as the BVI.
Maurius also supports clients in corporate amendments or restructuring, post incorporation compliances, regulatory and employment matters in UAE. He further conducts legal researches and corporate investigations, assists in litigation filings and trademark registrations in the GCC region.
Prior to joining AMERELLER in 2017, Maurius initially worked in 2014 for an international boutique law and wealth advisors firm in Dubai.
