Sherif El Saadani is a partner and head of arbitration at the Cairo office. He specializes in dispute resolution with a focus on commercial and investment arbitration. He practices as counsel and arbitrator in a diverse array of commercial and investment sectors, including international sale of goods, agency, distributorship, joint ventures, infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisition, oil field services, construction and real estate development. He is featured in cases under the auspices of the CRCICA (Egypt), ICDR-AAA (United States), DIAC (UAE), ICC (France), and DIS (Germany).
Sherif has an interdisciplinary background that includes corporate and transactional work. In previous roles to joining AMERELLER, he acted as an associate member of law firms in Cairo and London, as well as VP/General Counsel in Dharan, Saudi Arabia.
Sherif regularly comments on legal developments, and has law articles published in Freiburg, Rome, Leipzig, and London. He read law at Cairo University, the American University in Cairo, and Harvard Law School. He was also a visiting scholar at Heidelberg University and UNIDROIT. He is proficient in Arabic, German and English.
