Sherif El Saadani is specialized in dispute settlement with a focus on commercial and investment arbitration. Sherif acts as counsel and arbitrator in disputes in Egypt and throughout the Middle East in a diverse array of practices, including international sale of goods, agency, distributorship, joint ventures, infrastructure projects, sale of shares, oil field services, and real estate development.
Sherif has an interdisciplinary background. In previous roles to joining AMERELLER, Sherif was a member of law firms in Cairo and London, and acted as VP/General Counsel in Dharan, Saudi Arabia. He regularly comments on legal developments, and has law articles published in Freiburg, Rome, Leipzig, and London. He read law at Cairo University, American University in Cairo, and Harvard Law School. He was also a visiting scholar at Heidelberg University and UNIDROIT. He is proficient in Arabic, German and English.
