Sofana Dahlan is a pioneering Saudi lawyer and social entrepreneur, recognized as one of the first women licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia. She advises on corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, and arbitration, with a particular focus on the creative and knowledge economy.

She served as Vice Governor for Entrepreneurship Advancement at Saudi Arabia’s SME Authority, becoming the first woman to hold a senior economic policy role. A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, she has also founded initiatives including Tashkeil, Kayanspace, and the Saudi National Creative Initiative (SNCI) to accelerate creative industries in the region.

Sofana holds an LLB from Cairo University, a postgraduate degree in Islamic Law, and an MBA from the American University of Technology, alongside executive education at Harvard.
